A 1959 graduate of Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Campbell became the owner of Blue Cross Animal Hospital in 1965. He was passionate about veterinary medicine and had a great love for his clients and their pets.

Dr. Campbell was a huge fan of Texas A&M football, was a renovator of multiple old historic homes and an avid historian. He and Betty, his wife of 55 years, raised three children and shared their home with two Norwich terriers. Dr. Campbell loved the comfort of his library, a warm fire and a good Aggie football game.
